Katherine Haslam also combines her role as founder of Dansing Academy with that of co-founder and musician with her band the Sirens.
Sirens were first formed in the late 1990s and were signed by Kitchenware in 2002. Their first single, 'Things Are Getting Better' became a big club hit and they have so far released one album, ‘Control Freaks’, which saw the girls enjoy success in the UK, Europe and Japan.
Their second album, ‘La La Land’, sees the band moving into the mainstream, writing and recording in Los Angeles and released Autumn 2007.
