Dansing Academy was formed in 2001 by founders Katherine Haslam, Sharon Elliott and Linda Forster; amalgamating their business acumen and experience in arts and music industry, made it a successful team. Dansing Academy is a Theatre School offering training in singing, dancing and drama to both adults and children in a secure but relaxed and affable environment. |

The Academys' mission statement is based upon the fun element of performing arts "Development in order for all children to
express themselves with confidence, poise and self-awareness. Social
skills, having fun and making friends are paramount - skills for life,
whatever their future may hold!"
The weekly pressure of school is quite adequate without the weekends forcing more rules and regulations. We therefore devised the learning process in order to compliment their weekly academia in a fun environment and without the pressures of a typical stage school.
La Sagesse Dansing Academy runs every Saturday and the Ponteland Academy runs on a Wednesday and our newest Academy is held in West Moor on a
Tuesday. All locations were chosen for their prime location, quality of facilities, beautiful surroundings and standards of security.
All children are taught in a safe and secure environment and are taught by CRB checked, professional staff.
